Mitigation Banking

Evergreen Environmental is currently managing four completed mitigation bank sites and is managing the current construction of two new mitigation banks in the Potomac River watershed in Virginia. In addition, we are in the early stages of developing wetland and stream mitigation sites in the Potomac and Rappahannock watersheds.

We are currently developing a wetland mitigation bank on the Delaware Bay in New Jersey which will be constructed in early 2007. We are actively seeking mitigation bank sites in additional water management areas in New Jersey.

Off Site Mitigation

The partners have a solid track record of assisting permit applicants who choose to meet their mitigation requirements through off-site mitigation at a specific site. We can lift some or all of the responsibilities of the permit applicant including all of the following:

·        performing a site search

·        managing the development and regulatory approval of the construction documents

·        managing construction and planting

·        performing delineations

·        monitoring performance

·        reporting to regulatory authorities.

The partners have worked with Airport Authorities, Turnpike Authorities, Departments of Transportation and Commercial and Residential Developers on a number of projects in finding appropriate mitigation in order to speed their permits towards approval.
